bluepeets asked: I unsuccessfully interviewed for a job at Photojojo in 2008. Amit has remained an inspiration, though, as I've been casually following his tweets, tumblogs, etc... ever since. A tiny part of my very recent move from SF to NYC is due in part to his answer when I asked him why he made the reverse move. Amit's great. Get well soon!

Amit’s story made me think how easy it can be to give a lot of people a bit of hope. My dad survived a leukemia almost 20 years ago, and even hating hospitals, needles and all that jazz I would never forgive myself if I lost the opportunity to help someone in the same situation.
